Abstract

This report presents thefindings of a review of a washout failure that occurred on 21 June 2004at slope No. 10SW-D/C97, located within the Correctional ServicesDepartment Addiction Treatment Centre at HeLing Chau. The washout involved a failurevolume of about 0.05 m³ and occurred at the location of asoil nail head. No casualties or damage to property were reported as aresult of the incident.
