Ground Investigation Works for Study of Groundwater, Sub-surface Moisture and Surface Drainage Water Associated with Man-made Slopes in Hong Kong

Description :

The works include ground investigation, laboratory testing on soil and rock samples obtained from the ground investigation works, and instrumentation installation, monitoring and reporting works for groundwater, sub-surface moisture, and surface drainage water for up to 10 government man-made features in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as well as field drainage tests for up to 5 government man-made features in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The works are scheduled to commence in July 2026 and will take about 54 months to complete. The ground investigation, laboratory testing, instrumentation installation and field drainage tests are targeted to be completed in the first 18 months, followed by continued monitoring.
