The works mainly comprise ground investigation and laboratory testing on soil and rock samples obtained from the ground investigation works for some 53 government slopes and retaining walls and some 4 natural hillside study areas in Hong Kong Island and Lantau Island. The works are scheduled to commence in May 2026 and will take about 36 months to complete.
