Kai Tak Development - Construction of Open Spaces near Kai Tak River

Description :

The works mainly comprise:

1. Construction of three adjoining open spaces, with a total area of about 8 700 square metres in Area 2 of Kai Tak Development, including landscaping, water feature, pedestrian walkway and drainage works; and

2. Construction of an open space with an area of about 7 800 m2 on both sides of Kai Tak River in the section between Kai Tak Station Square and Olympic Avenue, including landscaping, viewing platform, bicycle track, pedestrian walkway, a footbridge across the Kai Tak River, drainage works, and ancillary facilities.

The works are scheduled to commence in December 2023 and will take about 31 months to complete.
