Tung Chung New Town Extension – Remaining Infrastructure Works in Tung Chung East

The Civil Engineering and Development Department signed a contract of about HK$689 million on 18 August 2026 with Sang Hing - Tapbo Joint Venture for carrying out infrastructure works under the Tung Chung New Town Extension project.
The works mainly include disposal of fill materials, construction of Road D3 and L1, and ancillary works including footpaths, cycle tracks, car park, drainage, sewerage, waterworks, district cooling mains and landscaping works.
The works commenced in August 2026 for completion in 2030.
