CEDD Signed Contract for Underground Quarrying at Lam Tei, Tuen Mun

The Civil Engineering and Development Department signed a contract of HK$1,008 million on 30 June 2025 with Faith Oriental Investment Limited for carrying out underground quarrying at Lam Tei, Tuen Mun.
The works mainly include design and build for the underground quarrying at Lam Tei Quarry, including quarrying works, geotechnical works, tunnelling works, drainage works and landscaping works. The contract commenced on 9 July 2025 for completion in 2040 tentatively.
