1. Please provide information on fill and surplus materials for your projects using the Form which is in EXCEL Download Excel (188KB). Please e-mail the completed Form to FMD by the specified deadline.
  2. PROJECT DETAILS
    1. Project/Contract Title: For projects which have yet to be divided into contract stages, complete only one form (Form 1), then enter the project title only. If the project has been sub-divided into different contract stages, packages or phases, complete a separate form for each contract and enter both the project title and the contract title.
    2. Contract Number: Complete when contract number is assigned.
    3. PWP: Enter Public Works Project (PWP) details.
    4. Client Department: Enter the name of the department responsible or, for a private project, the owner's name.
    5. Works Department: Enter the Works Department for the contract project.
    6. Contractor: Complete when contract is awarded.
    7. Consultant: or some projects, the consultant for the contract stage may be different from the consultant for the study stage. Enter the current consultant.
    8. Key Dates: Enter actual or planned dates (format "dd/mm/yyyy") of commencement of contract and completion of contract.
  3. FILL AND SURPLUS DATA
    1. Annual Fill Requirements and Annual Surplus:
      1. Report total design fill requirement under "Annual Fill Requirements", volumes of material to be disposed of off-site under "Annual Surplus". For projects that are completed, report actual quantities.
      2. Enter the volumes of fill/surplus in each calendar year in the contract period, for permanent works only. Report in-situ volume in the reclamation or in-situ volume of material to be excavated. Do not apply bulking factor. Insert volume for each appropriate year in units of million cubic metres, to three decimal places. (i.e. volume to nearest 1000m3 per annum).
    2. Fill Details And Surplus Details:
      1. If the fill source site(s) has already been allocated by MFC or the project office/contractor has arranged to source the material independently, including sources from outside HK, state the source(s). Similarly, indicate if disposal of surplus material at another project or disposal site outside HK has been arranged. For completed projects, report actual fill source(s) and disposal site(s).
      2. For fill requirements, enter the amount of fill under the relevant fill source, also enter the amount of fill under the relevant fill usage.
      3. For surplus materials, enter the amount of surplus under the relevant way of disposal, also enter the amount of surplus under the relevant usage of the generated materials within own site.
