Cross Bay Link, Tseung Kwan O awarded Execellence in Environmental Sustainability Initiative of the "Hong Kong Sustainability Award 2023"

The Hong Kong Management Association Hong Kong Sustainability Award recognizes organizations which have incorporated excellence ideas in the sustainability initiatives. Civil Engineering and Development Department applied numerous advanced methods in the Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link project, enhancing construction quality and safety while significantly reducing construction time. The infrastructure is the first multi-purpose sea-crossing flyover in Hong Kong, featuring dual-carriageways, cycle tracks, and footpath. With the commissioning of the Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link, the accessibility within the area has been significantly improved, enhancing the Tseung Kwan O transportation network and creating a new vision for Tseung Kwan O.
