Cross Bay Link, Tseung Kwan O – Main Bridge and Associated Works awarded Brunel Medal of “ICE Awards 2021”

The Brunel Medal of Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Awards recognises achievements in decarbonisation from civil engineering infrastructures. In 2021, the Brunel Medal was awarded to the project, Cross Bay Link, Tseung Kwan O of Civil Engineering and Development Department. Cross Bay Link spans approximately 1.8km. Adopting S690QL high-strength steel in a large scale, the material is 30% stronger than traditional steel and reduces carbon emission by 20%.
