Artist Square Bridge (ASB) is a barrier free covered footbridge, providing 24-hour direct linkage between the Artist Square of WKCD, the public footpath of Austin Road West and the MTR Kowloon Station. ASB is about 94 metres long with a clear width of about 7 metres. The construction contract commenced on 14 May 2020.

The most challenging operation was the bridge launching above the traffic lanes of Austin Road West, during which temporary closure for all traffic lanes at Austin Road West Flyover was necessary to minimize risks to the public. The construction team was required to launch the main bridge structure to the Elements side by hydraulic jacking within the night time of road closure between 9:00pm to 9:00am on the next day. The bridge launching was completed successfully. This minimized the impact to traffic and also expedited the works progress. Eventually, the ASB was completed successfully on time and within budget. It was opened for public use on 21 December 2021, 6 months ahead of the original schedule.
