The Development of the Loop was awarded the Bronze Award of the CIC Construction Digitalisation Award 2024. This Award recognises outstanding local projects and local organisations for their contribution in the promotion and adoption of digitalisation tools and workflows and in bringing about innovation in these areas to improve productivity, quality, sustainability and safety, with measurable KPIs. Civil Engineering and Development Department leveraged digital technologies: LiDAR 3D scanning and drone-based photogrammetry for precise site mapping and risk identification; implemented a revolutionary Full-Span Deck Erection Method for Bridge ST01 over 10 lanes of busy highways; and implemented additional 4S initiatives ("4S+"), such as "Tamago", "Canopus", Smart Access System, and Smart Site Control Centre. With the innovative spirit, the project digitalise to improve productivity, quality, sustainability and safety.
