Contract No. YL/2020/02 under the Development of the Loop project received the Diamond Award for the Outstanding BIM Project in Civil Engineering in HKICBIM Award 2025, recognizing its integrated BIM methodologies in constructing two road bridges. The project showcased end-to-end digitalization by combining photogrammetry, LiDAR, BIM, augmented reality, and digital fabrication. Notably, the team implemented a revolutionary Full-Span Deck Erection Method for Bridge ST01 over 10 lanes of busy highways, demonstrating how digital technologies can transform complex works and set new benchmarks for efficiency, safety, and sustainability. This project sets a strong precedent for leveraging advanced technologies to optimize construction and deliver superior outcomes.
