“Love and Reunion” Lantern Festival at Tung Chung Promenade

With a view to creating a vibrant and diverse waterfront, the Sustainable Lantau Office organised "Love and Reunion" Lantern Festival at Tung Chung East Promenade to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the public.
In addition to the giant neon light lantern, four-metre tall lantern walls and about 1 000 lanterns hanging along the promenade designed by renowned young architect, Mr Stanley Siu, the Lantern Festival also exhibited lanterns made by Tung Chung residents.
On the Mid-Autumn Day and the following day, there were "Lantern Riddles Game", shadow puppet shows and workshops to enhance the festive atmosphere.
