24/10/2020

The "Junior Engineers" programme aims to promote reclamation works to students in the vicinity of the construction site of the project. This programme, which includes talks and workshops, introduces the daily work of engineers, enriches students' understanding of reclamation works and arouses their interest in "STEM".

The volunteer team "Builder" of the Tung Chung East reclamation contract organised the "Where Does The Truck Go" workshop. The volunteer team introduced the basic principle of truck movement and the knowledge of reclamation to students. Students assembled models of trucks together with volunteers and learnt how the reclamation works were closely related to their daily lives.
