STEM Education Day Camp for Junior Secondary School Students @ the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

The Geotechnical Engineering Office organised the "STEM Education Day Camp for Junior Secondary School Students" at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, which received overwhelming support by about 70 students from 13 secondary schools.  We were honoured to have the Legislative Council Member for the Education constituency, Hon Ip Kin-yuen, the Chairman of the Sai Kung District Council, Mr. Ng Sze-fuk, and the President of the HKIE, Ir. Ringo Yu Shek-man, as our guests-of-honour.  The programme of activities included the sharing sessions on geotechnical engineering, scientific knowledge of SI Units and laboratory testing, laboratory tours, testing workshops, and science competitions, etc.
