Innotech Forum on Geotechnology

The Geotechnical Engineering Office organised the "Innotech Forum on Geotechnology" on 30 May 2019. The forum aims to provide a platform for exchanging knowledge and insights gained from recently completed and ongoing technical development work in geotechnical engineering, and deliberating the gaps in knowledge and areas that deserve more research and development work so as to enable better integration of research and practice.

Ir S H Lam, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) of Development Bureau, and Hon Charles Peter Mok, Legislative Councilor (IT) were invited as the Guests of Honour of the Forum. Mr Simon Wong, Chief Project Development Officer of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, and various speakers from the universities, engineering industry and the government delivered insightful speeches on various aspects of innovation and technological development.
