North Development Office (NDO) is mainly responsible for planning and implementation of engineering projects related to major developments mainly in the North, Tai Po and Shatin Districts.

Current major projects undertaken by NDO include infrastructure enhancement works in Sha Tin and Ma On Shan, Widening of Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section), Kwu Tung North and Fanling North New Development Areas and Liantang / Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point.
