Stratigraphy: Cretaceous intrusive rocks with an age of approximately 144.0 ± 0.3 million years before present.

Distribution: The Shui Chuen O Granite forms an ellipsoidal pluton between centred on Shui Chuen O, Sha Tin district.

Lithology: Porphyritic fine- to medium-grained granite.
