Construction Waste Disposal Charging Scheme
 
Government has introduced charging for the disposal of construction waste at landfills, sorting facilities and public fill reception facilities through the following amendments of Waste Disposal Ordinance (Chapter 354).

* The Waste Disposal Ordinance defines construction waste
* Details of the charging scheme are set out in the new Waste Disposal (Charges for Disposal of Construction Waste) Regulation
* Related powers to implement the charging scheme in Government-owned facilities are provided in the Waste Disposal (Designated Waste Disposal Facility) Regulation
