Brief Description of Project Scope:

The project forms part of the NT Cycle Track Network which connects local cycle track networks in various new towns and is mainly for recreation purpose. The works under this project comprise the construction of new cycle tracks of approximately 5 km long from Fanling to Tai Po and improvement to selected existing artery cycle tracks in Sheung Shui, Fanling, Tai Po and Sha Tin together with the provision of supporting facilities.

Scope: Construction of public toilet, cycle rental kiosks, first aids kiosks, pavilion, cycle parking areas, practicing areas, sitting out areas and associated works at the Hubs in Sheung Shui and Sha Tin.
Commencement Date: 29 June 2011
Completion Date: November 2013
Contract Sum: $40.07 million
Current Progress: The works were substantially completed.
