Brief Description of Project Scope: |
This project consists of about 1 km of road tunnel and the Sha Tin toll plaza formation together with connecting roads to Road T3 and slip roads to Che Kung Miu Road. |
Current Project Progress: |
The project has been substantially
completed and the roads were opened to the public
on 21 March 2008. |

| Scope |
(a) site formation, drainage, geotechnical and landscape works for the toll plaza;
(b) construction of approximately 1 km of 3-lane twin-bore tunnel underneath Sha Tin Heights;
(c) construction of a dual 2-lane at-grade carriageway of about 0.7 km linking the Sha Tin Heights Tunnel and Road T3;
(d) construction of slip roads connecting to Che Kung Miu Road; and
(e) construction of noise mitigation measures.
